I collect recipes because, like you, I get tired of always making the same things for my family. The best part is that all the recipes are free and located very easily. Jessi's Banana Cake and Cream Cheese frosting

1  1/2 cups Bananas mashed and ripe
2 tsp lemon juice
3 cups of flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt
3/4 cup butter softened
2 1/8 cups of sugar
3 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups of butter milk
Frosting
1/2 cup butter softened
1 8 oz package of cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 cups icing sugar
 
 
Preheat Oven at 275  grease and flour a 9x13 pan
In a small bowl mix mashed bananas with the lemon juice and set aside
In a medium bowl mix flour baking soda and salt set aside
in a large bowl mix  cream 3/4 cups butter 2 1/8 cups sugar until light and  fluffy
beat in eggs one at a time then stir in 2 tsp of vanilla
beat in the flour mixture alternately  with the butter milk
stir in the banana mixture
put in pan and stick in oven for 1 hr or until tooth pick comes out clean
 
Frosting
 
mix the butter and cream cheese till smooth
beat in 1 tsp of vanilla
add sugar icing and beat on low speed until combined then on high speed until frosting is smooth
